Course Overview
The purpose of P3O® is to provide universally applicable processes, techniques and tools that facilitate senior management’s decision making on prioritisation, dependencies, risks and deployment of resources. If your current role involves directing, monitoring and controlling projects, you will find this certificate extremely useful for career development.
Download course outlineThere are no specific prerequisites. Some appreciation of the ideas and principles of services may be useful to provide context.
Managers attempting to provide a structure for prioritisation and control of corporate organisational investments, particularly those using PRINCE2® and MSP®, although any methodology can be effectively improved using the P3O model.
- Self-paced eLearning course (3 month expiry).
- Online examination accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days per week (12-month expiry).
- Access to textbook and learning resources.
- Articulate an overview of different ways the P3O can add value.
- Recall and understand key reasons and benefits required to get senior management approval for the P3O.
- Identify the different P3O models and the need to adapt to the organisation’s needs, taking into account the organisation’s size and portfolio, program and project management maturity.
- Identify the key elements of a plan to either implement or re-energise a P3O.
- Recall the different purposes of a range of tools and techniques required in the P3O.
- Closed book
- 60 minute duration.
- 35 out of 70 pass mark.
Upon successful completion of the exam, students will receive their certificate directly from PeopleCert.
