Effective interpersonal and organizational success hinges on a strong foundation of emotional intelligence.

This encompasses several key competencies: self-awareness, the ability to recognize and understand one’s emotions; self-management, the capacity to regulate one’s emotions and behaviours; social awareness, which includes empathy and understanding others’ perspectives; and relationship management, the skill of building and maintaining strong connections.
