The Institute of Management is pleased to announce that we are able to assist project, program and portfolio managers to gain recognition for their advanced technical knowledge of project management through the Praxis Framework™ Professional Certification. This certification has been recognised by APM as a route to achieving the Chartered Project Professional, the “must have” professional qualification for all project, program and portfolio professionals.
Any candidate, who has achieved the Praxis Framework Practitioner Certification and has at least five years of project, program or portfolio experience can now apply to become a Praxis Framework Professional, and then it’s only a 30-minute interview to Chartered status!
If you don’t have a Praxis Framework Practitioner Certification, you can complete a three-day Foundation Course and Exam, followed by a two-day Practitioner Course and Exam. If you don’t feel you need the course, you can just complete the exams for both. An added bonus includes if you already have the PMP® certification from the Project Management Institute, or Prince2® Practitioner or MSP® Practitioner from PeopleCert, among a few other certifications, you can complete a Praxis Framework Bridging Course and Exam, which provides you with the Praxis Framework Practitioner Certification, and allows you to skip the Foundation Course and Exam.
The Praxis Framework Professional Certification consists of a portfolio of evidence that is completed for assessment. We will assist you to put the portfolio together, providing guidance and feedback along the way. We provide tips and tricks to navigate the two-hour presentation and assessment interview. Once you have successfully obtained your Praxis Framework Professional Certification, you are then able to apply for your Chartered Project Professional qualification. By taking the Praxis Framework™ Professional Certification route, or Route 2, you are only required to have a 30-minute interview with an APM Assessor for Chartered status.
