This two (2) day course is designed to develop the writing, speaking, non verbal, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills necessary for management professionals. Participants will develop and polish their existing communication strategies and methods through discussion, examples, and practice in order to develop the skills expected of effective leaders.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to;

  1. Describe the elements in the communication process and their effective application in the workplace
  2. Explain the importance of effective listening, nonverbal communication and questioning skills in the feedback process
  3. Describe feedback methods and how feedback, motivates, rewards and improves performance
  4. Discuss the features of good business writing and strategies to avoid common pitfalls
  5. Adopt a structured approach to writing emails, business letters, short reports and service level agreements


  • Any manager who wishes to acquire the skills and knowledge needed to communicate more effectively both verbally, non verbally and in written form.
