There are no specific pre-requisites for foundation. Some appreciation of the ideas and principles of services may be useful to provide context.

Candidates seeking to attain the PRINCE2® Practitioner Certification must have previously attained the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification.

To purchase the PRINCE2® Practitioner Course you must have passed one of the following exams and be in possession of the certificate:

• PRINCE2® 6th edition Foundation.
• PRINCE2® 5th edition Practitioner.
• Project Management Professional (PMP).
• Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM).
• IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director).
• IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager).
• IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager).
• IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate).

The PRINCE2® Foundation Course is aimed at project managers or those who aspire to such a role. It is also suitable for anyone who is involved in the conception, creation and delivery of a project: members of the project committee, project team managers, project auditors, project support (PMO) and other resources.

This level of certification is particularly recommended for project managers. It’s also relevant for resources working on planning, development and creation of a project, including:

• Project board members.
• Project team members.
• Those in charge of the project assurance.
• Members of the office project.
• Organisation personnel in general who are involved in projects managed according to PRINCE2®.

• Self-paced eLearning course (3-month expiry for each level run consecutively)
• Online examination accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days per week (12-month expiry).
• Access to electronic textbook and learning resources

Instructor-led sessions can be provided in both face-to-face and virtual settings.

The course is typically a 5-day course depending on the learning needs of the cohort.

Practitioner Course:

• Open Book Exam
• 2 Hours, 30 Minutes Duration
• 38 out of 68 Pass Mark

Successful completion of the exam will enable students to receive their certificate direct from PeopleCert.
