This three (3) day course aims to describe the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to develop and monitor implementation of the strategic plan to deliver corporate strategy, set goals and to inform timely decision making.

Management at a strategic level requires systems and procedures to be developed and implemented to facilitate the implementation of the plan.

Day Three

Set achievable and realistic goals

  • Develop, monitor and review performance systems and processes.
  • Analyse and interpret budget and actual financial information to monitor and review profit and productivity performance.
  • Ensure goals are achieved within timeframes and cost.

Use monitoring and reporting tools for informed decision making

  • Format measures for monitoring or evaluating the efficiency or effectiveness of a system.
  • Accurately report actual data for physical and financial resources.
  • Reward good performance.
