The Institute of Management is the training and development division of the international management consultancy Blue Visions Management PTY Ltd.

The Role

The Training Services Business Development Manager will report to the Regional Director of Institute of Management.

The Training Services Business Development Manager will manage business opportunities, identifying and developing relationships with prospective clients and maintaining existing client relationships leading to new and ongoing business. They will act as an ambassador for Institute of Management through connections with clients, industry networking and government authorities.


Main responsibilities will include:

• Developing objectives and strategy in support of overall corporate business development goals in Training and Consultancy services to all industry sectors
• Identifying and calling on prospective clients to present the company and its capabilities
• Cultivating relationships with existing clients and consultants and keeping up to date with the market and potential projects
• Delivering high quality presentations to introduce Institute of Management and its value proposition
• Managing and creating all tender bids and developing winning proposals to match client goals
• Ensuring client’s needs are being met prior to contract execution
• Maintaining accurate records of clients and project details in the company CRM
• Assisting management with other company tasks as required
• Conducting market research to identify and prioritise potential clients
• Building network through, but not limited to, attendance and participation with various industry and professional groups and networking associations

Candidate Profile

Minimum qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor degree
• Minimum 5 years experience in the training / learning & development sector in the region and must currently be performing a similar Training Services Business Development Manager role in the UAE
